酒wine仙god李白a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty (The Wine Spirit Li Bai)

李白was a famous romantic poet in the Tang Dynasty, who was also referred to as a Wine Spirit. He himself claimed that “There are 360 days in a year, and one should drink 300 glasses of wine each day.” Unlike most other poets, Li Bai produced even better poems after drinking. One day, Emperor Tang invited Li Bai to create a few new poems for the Peony Party the Emperor was holding to enhance the Emperor and Empress’ enjoyment of the beautiful peonies. Li Bai told the Emperor that producing a few poems was not difficult as long as the Emperor could provide him with enough wine. After a few cups of wine, Li Bai quickly dashed off three beautiful poems. The emperor was very pleased with Li Bai’s work, and ordered his servants to bring Li Bai a seven-treasure cup, which the Emperor himself filled with grape wine.
